Food diary - Day 9

My stomach is really sore from eating so much. Really pleased that I found time to prepare one of my favourite things – quinoa. To be honest, I prefer it in savoury dishes but had a mutually craving for it and porridge so why not! Also, had another favourite today – kimchi – I usually buy a huge tub and have a spoon in soups or whenever I fancy a quick snack. Yum!

Breakfast (0539): A mug of hot water with lemon, a mug of nettle tea and half a litre of water.

Snack (0915): Medium bowl of porridge made with quinoa, organic soya milk, organic maple syrup and nutmeg. A lovely cup of fennel tea and a mug of hot water with lemon.

Lunch: None.

Snack (1450): Small pot of green tea with a small packet of minstrels.

Dinner (1707): Bowl of Japanese soup (which I prepared with stock from my local Japanese resto) with soba noodles (my absolute favourite), kimchi, spinach, button mushroom, a yellow pepper and parsley.

Snack (1930): 2 small glasses of vegetable juice made with spinach, fennel, carrot, beetroot and ginger and mixed with 3 tablespoons of organic flax seed oil.
